Hamza Yaqoob Malik known as Hym (Urdu: حمزہ یعقوب ملک; born 2 May 1992,[1] in Chakwal, Pakistan) is an Artist Promoter from Pakistan. Hym started providing professional services to the Pakistani Music Industry from 2013 and made his name in a very short while. Hym started his music career in 2014. Hym is also doing Higher Qualifications in Information Technology and is an Associate member of the British Computer Society. His first cover song "Bas Rona Mat" became a massive hit. His musical career took off and he decided to focus solely on singing.

Early life[edit]

Hym did his early education from Lahore and now he is doing is High qualifications in IT with the British Council.

Career as an Artist Promoter[edit]

HYM is one of key role players who has been promoting endowed artists of Pakistan. It was December 2013 that he decided his target and started giving his assistance to Pakistan’s entertainment industry. From 2013 Hym has promoted many artists including models and singers who have made their blotch in the industry. He became the media in himself. In the preceding year[2] he has propped up around 150+ songs online as their “Official Promoter” and made those ventures known on social media. Other than working on these 120+ songs as their official promoter, Hym has supported 600+ songs on the whole. He still wants to contribute to much more coverage compared to today.

Music career[edit]

Hamza Yaqoob Malik released his first song 'Bas Rona Mat'[3] which was originally done by Shivai Vyas. This song was released on 13 February 2014 on the occasion of Valentines Day. Music was arranged by Raheel Fayyaz. The song received a great response from the listeners. Hamza Yaqoob Malik plans to release his debut song in near future.
