The Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) is an all island representative association and accrediting body for Humanistic and Integrative psychotherapists.

IAHIP is a member organisation of the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP) which is part of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP).

IAHIP is a registered company limited by guarantee Company Limited by Guarantee in Ireland - CRO number 215493

The organisation is made up of members and associates,[1] members are fully accredited IAHIP Psychotherapists. Members appoint a Governing Body each year at the Annual General Meeting.

The offices of IAHIP are based in 40 Northumberland Avenue, Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin.

Publication[edit]

The peer reviewed journal Inside Out[2] is published three times per year.

Accreditation criteria[edit]

The criteria for IAHIP Accreditation is outlined in the organisation's Bye-Law 11.[3] This outlines two phases that need to be met before accreditation is granted. The first phase is a training phase and the second phase is experiential.
