The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) Foreign Base Chapter in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Central Region (KSA-CRC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and preservation of electronics engineering. Accredited by the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE), achieved through its affiliation with the Philippine Council of Engineers & Architects (PCEA).[1]

The primary mission of IECEP-KSA-CRC is to provide a platform for professional and technical development, encouraging the application of electronics technology principles to achieve excellence and contribute to the advancement of humanity through innovative solutions.[2]. Its ultimate goal is to establish a community of skilled professionals dedicated to using their electronics technology expertise to make a positive impact on the world.

The organization is dedicated to promoting advanced engineering practices and facilitating the mobility and recognition of Filipino professionals within regional frameworks such as ASEAN, APEC, and the Washington Accord, through its affiliation with the Philippine Technological Council (PTC). Actively participates in the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP),[3] overseen by the Commission on Higher Education, and the Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE),[4] supervised by the Professional Regulation Commission. Through these programs, the organization has provided valuable support to a significant number of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) with diverse educational and personal backgrounds, with the aim of enhancing their professional prospects.

Since its inception, the organization has shown a strong commitment to fostering cooperation and actively participating in corporate social responsibility initiatives. By prioritizing collaborative efforts, IECEP-KSA-CRC aims to maximize its social influence, promote sustainable development, and effect meaningful change in the communities it serves.
