The Guangzhou Beauty Exchange Center is one of China's largest wholesale markets, stocking a wide range of commonly known beauty products such as cosmetics and packaging. It was founded in 2002 by the Guangdong Anhua Beauty Economy & Development Co., Ltd, and began operations in 2003.

Functioning as a commercial facility and an inclusive beauty supply chain platform, it spans an area of approximately 90,000 square meters.[citation needed] The Center provides a variety of products and services such as beauty salons, cosmetics, health products, body-shaping underwear, wigs, raw materials OEM/ODM services, packaging materials, industry training, and transaction services [2]

It also serves as the base for groups like the China Association of Industry and Commerce Beauty Salon and Cosmetics Industry, the Hairdressing Association in Guangdong Province, and the China International Beauty Expo [4]

The Guangzhou Beauty Exchange Center has received several recognitions. It was named among the "Top 12 Commercial and Trade Start-up Projects in Guangzhou" in 2003.
