IEEE Learning Technology Standards Committee (IEEE LTSC) is an IEEE SA Sub-Committee which sponsors and publishes a family of IEEE standards dealing with education technologies, training technologies and related computer technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and AR/VR, e-publishing, etc.
About
The IEEE Learning Technology Standards Committee (LTSC) is chartered by the IEEE Computer Society Standards Activity Board to develop internationally accredited technical standards, recommended practices, and guides for learning technology.[1]
The IEEE LTSC follows an open and transparent, formal standards development process and the standards developed under the LTSC workgroups follow the IP policies established by IEEE SA.[2]
The IEEE LTSC coordinates with other organizations, such as ISO/IEC, both formally and informally, that produce specifications and standards. LTSC works with the community to advance, support, and inform the community primarily about education and training technologies.[3]
The IEEE LTSC is governed by a Sponsor Executive Committee (SEC) consisting of working group chairs and elected officers.
Community and WG Membership
In addition to over 300 active individual memberships[4], LTSC also has over 20 corporate members (aka "entity members").
