The iPad Air (6th generation), colloquially known as the iPad Air 6, is a tablet computer designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc. Will be announced by Apple in March 2024. It succeeded the 5th generation iPad Air. It is available with the 10.9-inch screen size option as its predecessor, alongside a new 12.9-inch screen option, similar to the IPad Pro 12.9-inch screen.
Features[edit]
Hardware[edit]
The fifth-generation iPad Air uses the M2 SoC; the same chip used in the iPad Pro (6th generation). The chip has an 8-core CPU, an 8-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine which can process more than 15.8 trillion operations per second. Apple claims the CPU is up to 18 percent faster and the GPU is 35 percent faster compared to its predecessor. It has 64 GB or 256 GB of internal storage, and 8 GB of RAM.[1][2]
