The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max is an upcoming smartphone designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc. It will be the fifteenth generation iPhone, succeeding the iPhone 12 Pro. It will be unveiled at an Apple Special Event alongside the lower-end iPhone 13 at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

History[edit]

Design[edit]

Specifications[edit]

Hardware[edit]

The iPhone 13 Pro uses Apple's A15 Bionic processor. The iPhone 13 Pro, like the iPhone 13, is not supplied with EarPods or the power adapter included with prior iPhone models. Apple claims this will reduce carbon emissions and that most users already own these items. Apple still supplies the USB-C to Lightning cable that was introduced with the iPhone 12 Pro. The iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max support 5G cellular communications. This allows upload speeds of up to 200 Mbit/s and download speeds of up to 4 Gbit/s.

Battery[edit]

The iPhone 13 Pro has a 3095 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging via a 20W USB-C adapter. The iPhone 13 Pro offers longer battery life than the iPhone 13. [1]

Display[edit]

Camera[edit]

Software[edit]

iPhone 13 Pro is preinstalled with iOS 15. The devices come with the stock iOS apps, such as Safari, Weather, and Messages, and they also include Siri, the personal assistant included in iOS since iOS 5 with the release of the iPhone 4S. iPhone 13 Pro supports iOS 16 announced at WWDC 2022. [2]
