Saad bin Muhammad bin Abdullah al-Qudsi al-Diri known as Ibn al-Dairi Arabic: (سعيد بن محمد بن عبدالله القدسي الديري) (20 March 1367 – 31 December 1462), is a Hanafi jurist, judge, and a Shami mystic. He was born in Jerusalem. He memorized the Qur’an and many books of jurisprudence, poetic systems, and interpretation. Mystic wire. He ruled the Hanafi school in Egypt for 25 years.And he died there. He is Saad Al-Din Abu Al-Saadat Saad bin Muhammad Saad bin Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Saad bin Abi Bakr bin Musleh bin Abi Bakr bin Saad Al-Qudsi Al-Diri Al-Hanafi. And attributed it to the village of Al-Deir, in Marda, Mount Nablus. He is not Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr ibn Khader al-Nasiri, also known as Ibn al-Diri.
He was born on Rajab 19 768 / March 20, 1367 in Jerusalem in the Mamluk state and grew up there. He read to its sheikhs and his father, so he memorized the Qur'an and many books of jurisprudence, its poetic systems, and interpretation. Abu al-Khair al-Ala'i and others authorized it. “He was quick to memorize, hyper-intelligent, devoted himself to work, and learned knowledge of his father, al-Kamal al-Surayhi, Ibn al-Naqeeb, al-Shams ibn al-Khatib, al-Muhib al-Fassi, and a large group in the arts of his fiqh and several.”[2]
Crown the sheikhdom of the Sufi al-Mu'awiya way after his father. He went to Egypt and taught in Cairo, and he used to give fatwas, interpret the Qur’an, and follow the deadlines, until he became the Hanafi mufti and appointed judge of the judiciary in the year 842 AH.[4] His eyesight weakened, so he retired from the judiciary a month before his death. Ibn al-Diri died on the 9th of Rabi’ al-Awwal or Rabi’ al-Awwal 867 / December 31, 1462 in Cairo and was buried in the turbah of al-Zahir Khushqadam.[2]
