Ikiya collective
ikiya collective is a frontline-led group of femme, queer, two-spirit Black, Indigenous, and people of the global majority organizing in Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico who believe that through direct action another world is possible.
Known members of ikiya collective are Jennifer K. Falcon, Ashley Engle.
On June 9th, ikiya collective partnered with Pussy Riot's Nadya Tolokonnikova unfurling a 45-foot banner from the Texas State Capitol Building that read "Matriarchy Now," calling out the state's attack on women's reproductive rights.
