Imu Ovaioza Yunusa (born 30 December 1993), popularly called 'Ovaioza" is a Nigerian Entrepreneur and owner of the Ovaioza Group of Companies.[1][2]
Early life[edit]
Born in Okene, Kogi State, Ovaioza originally hails from Akoko Edo, Edo State, Nigeria. Ovaioza had her early education from the College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Kogi State on a scholarship.[3]
Education[edit]
After her secondary education, she proceeded to the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
She further obtained her B.Sc in Biology Education from the Bayero University, Kano State.
Business career[edit]
In 2017, Ovaioza founded the OFSB, an acronym for Ovaioza Farm and Storage Business, an agricultural storage company for buying, storing and reselling of surplus grains.[4][5] The company started on a small-scale level by stocking agricultural products like egusi in small quantities.[6]
[7] In 2021, she established Ovaioza Skills Acquisition Centre (OSAC), a centre that engages in hands on skills knowledge and human capacity development. It involves a10-course skill acquisition programme, ranging from tailoring, paint making, hair barbing, hair styling, shoe-making, clothe dying, furniture making, aluminum, cap making and auto gele.[8][9] The centre is said to be a centre that will attract other African students in acquiring other skills aside from formal education.
