InMotion Hosting is a privately owned web hosting service company headquartered in Los Angeles, California. The company maintains offices in Virginia, Colorado and California. It is ranked #15 in U.S. 2020 market share.[1]

The company offers services including shared hosting, WordPress hosting, VPS hosting, cloud computing, dedicated hosting, WooCommerce hosting, PrestaShop hosting and professional services.

The company was founded in 2001 by Todd Robinson and Sunil Saxena. It employs over 300 people, with 280 people[2] in the Virginia Beach, VA office.

History[edit]

In 2015, InMotion Hosting introduced a WYSIWYG editor called BoldGrid. It allows users the ability to visually create responsive web design through the use of drag-and-drop tools.

In 2018, the company partnered with Jetpack by WordPress.[3]

In 2019, InMotion Hosting purchased a 61,000-square-foot facility in Virginia Beach.[4]
