Ina Geraldine, born in Berlin to a German mother and Beninese father.
Ina Geraldine started her acting career on the German hit series Drei Damen vom Grill at age 5 and continued on as a child model for a successful German children’s clothing company.
As a young adult Ina found herself back in the industry in promotions accompanying Hip Hop tours of artists such as Outkast, MC Lyte, Guru, Wu Tang Clan. This led to the birth of a journalism career with internships at Berlins Kiss fm and Energie radio stations as production assistant.
After internships, modeling and acting gigs in music videos Ina Geraldine left Berlin for New York City. She shot her first documentary film entitled En Why See documenting the New York social and music scene in 1999. The documentary featured artists such as George Clinton, D'Angelo and Method Man.
Before starting her economic and social science degree at HDK University in Berlin, Ina landed her first big gig with MTV. She was host for the newly founded MTV Central covering Switzerland, Austria and Germany to then moving on to represent Europe as the first paneuropean MTV VJ. She hosted live countdown shows and broadcasts like the European Music Awards and MTV Movie Awards viewed by more than 50 million people around the globe.
During her stint at MTV she hosted many programs including shows like MTV Live, Fashion Zone, Movie Zone and more. She met and interviewed the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Mary J. Blige, Bruce Springsteen, Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Bon Jovi, P Diddy, Jay-Z, Erykah Badu, Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood and Henry Rollins.
Ina has had 3 years of training at Vancouver’s Lyric School of Acting, and Actor's Foundry. She also trained as a dancer at Vancouver’s Harbour Dance Centre.
As commercial talent Ina has done US and worldwide spots for many companies including Microsoft, Nokia, Clearasil, Dannon and Busch Beer. She played a principal role in Nickelback’s "Savin Me" and has done runway shows for Alexander del'Acqua, Jette Joop and Whistlers Fashion Rocks.
Ina Geraldine has now set her focus squarely on film and television. Her first appearances in trashfilms like American Pie: Book of Love and Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief let ina comes to the insight that she isn't good enough to play the sunshinestarlet.[1]...
