Insuranks is an international insurance comparison website and technology company.
Founded in 2016 and officially launched in March 2018, the website serves as a global insurance community that improves the global insurance experience for the benefit of everyone. The site ranks insurance carriers, agents and brokers for over 230 insurance types based on consumer rankings and experience.
Company history[edit]
The company was officially founded in 2016 by entrepreneur Ofir Sahar and launched in a beta version on March 2018.[1] It is headquartered in Rehovot, Israel.[2]
Website and community[edit]
Insuranks[3] lets insurance shoppers compare insurance quotes online for free and get the best deals from a broad selection of insurers and manage their selected policies online. The site also displays business listings of companies, agents and brokers along with useful information, consumer reviews and rankings and contact information.
Insuranks score[edit]
Insuranks.com ranks insurance companies and agents based on consumer experience and rankings. Consumers are called Insurankers for the part they play on the website, of ranking the services that were given to them by agents and companies, thus determining their overall ranking, which is their Insuranks Score, the aggregation of all the different service aspects as ranked by consumers. The Insuranks Score of every company and agent is served to the visitors of the website throughout it and helps them to make better insurance decisions.
Charitable causes[edit]
- Insuranks is dedicating a portion of its generated income to supporting a select group of charitable causes and organizations that do good and spread light in the world.[4] Among the supported organizations are the Temple Institute, The Temple Mount Heritage Foundation, Greenpeace, Variety, Latet, United Hatzalah, Chabad and other organizations that help the world’s needy and do good.
