He first became popular as a user on SoundCloud, a platform known for causing the fame of huge names in the industry such as Post Malone, Juice WRLD, and others. His debut single became one of the top songs on the platform's weekly top chart for a short period of time.[2] He is also known for his short videos on the social media app TikTok. He is also known for his anti-suicide activism and his goals to bring awareness to autism.[1]

Personal life[edit]

Career[edit]

Emrich released his debut single, Sometimes, under the stage name Insyde on January 22, 2019, which went viral on the sound-sharing app SoundCloud.[1][4] After the success of the track, Insyde signed a distribution deal with AWAL, a major independent label that is home to artists such as Lauv, FINNEAS, and deadmau5.[5]

Following his first release, Insyde released Something Real, featuring fellow Oklahoma musicians Hennest and Tot On August 2, 2019. It was his first song to pass the 1 million stream milestone on the paid music streaming platform Spotify.[6][7][8]

His third single, Alone was released on October 11, marking Insyde's second collaboration with Hennest.[9]

Insyde released a single party all day, party all night, which became popular on TIkTok, fueling it to virality. The song took the #2 spot briefly on the Genius music charts on its first day,[10] and was top 40 for the entire week of release.[11]

Insyde and his music became popular on the short-form video sharing app TikTok, where his videos have been viewed over 100 million times.[12]
