Interstudent

INTERSTUDENT is a competition for the best foreign student in Poland, which is organized by Perspektywy Education Foundation as part of the program "Study in Poland". It is open to all foreign students studying at Polish universities and other higher education institutions.[1][2]

The winners are selected in 3 categories, Undergraduate ("Studia licencjackie"), Masters' ("Studia magisterskie"), and Doctors' "Studia doktoranckie").[3]

The competition places an emphasis both on academic exellence and social engagement.[4] For example, the 2016 Ukrainian winner was praised, in part, "for the promotion of the good image of the university abroad".[5] The competition is seen as a means to create bridges between the cultures of various peoples.[5]

Currently, about 72 thousand foreign students from 166 countries are studying in Poland[6].
