Elogic Commerce is an end-to-end software development and IT consulting company specializing exclusively in ecommerce.[1] Founded in 2009, it is headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, and has multiple delivery centers across East Europe with a few major ones based in West Ukraine. The firm helps omnichannel retailers with their digital strategy, customer experience, re-platforming, custom systems integration, and ecommerce solutions implementation.

As a Bronze Adobe Solutions Partner,[2] Elogic has the majority of its projects developed on Magento. However, starting from 2021, the company has been expanding its focus on other ecommerce platforms to cater to the needs of various global clients from DTC clients (Shopify and BigCommerce) to enterprises (Adobe Commerce and commercetools).

In 2022, Elogic Commerce has also expanded its strategic partnership portfolio and became a Basic Salesforce Partner to add Salesforce Commerce B2C Cloud and Salesforce Commerce B2B Cloud capabilities to their offering.[3]

History[edit]

Elogic Commerce was founded in 2009 in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. Started by two post-graduates from Chernivtsi University obsessed with technology, the company only accounted for six employees mentored by founders and completing two Ukrainian and one Dutch projects.[4]

The company initially started as a web development studio. But later, as the founders realized the impossibility of delivering expertise in such a general field, they focused on the leading open-source Magento platform where they had the most experience. Time proved the decision right as more midmarket merchants were looking for a flexible and scalable platform. This drove the demand for ecommerce experts, and Elogic started hiring more high-profile senior software engineers.

Most of the Elogic clients came from business references. As the team grew its expertise, they saw higher demand for top engineering talents, which prompted them to launch Elogic Academy in 2012. Such in-company training and courses aimed at helping newbies start their careers as software developers and deliver the highest quality standards to their ecommerce clients. The company’s corporate training was focused on Magento and led only by Adobe Certified Experts on staff.

In 2015, the company moved its headquarters to Tallinn, Estonia. The office in Chernivtsi stayed as a primary delivery center in Ukraine.

The company cemented its presence on the market by opening new delivery centers in Khmelnytskyi in 2017 and in Ternopil in 2021.[5]

In 2022, the company has opened more delivery centers in Poland and Romania and now plans to expand further into the European and Latin American regions.
