Ironsworn: Starforged
Ironsworn: Starforged is a 2022 tabletop role-playing game by Shawn Tomkin.
Setting
Ironsworn: Starforged games are set in the Forge, a globular cluster orbiting 1,700 light years away from the galactic plane.
The Ironsworn: Starforged rulebook names Star Wars, Firefly, Alien, Dune, Battlestar Galactica, The Expanse, and Guardians of the Galaxy as some of the main inspiration for its worldbuilding and tone, while encouraging the players to adapt the setting to their preferences.
System
Ironsworn: Starforged supports three modes of play. Starforged can be played solo, in co-op without a gamemaster, or, similarly to most other tabletop role-playing games, with the gamemaster's guidance.[1]
Supplements
In 2024 Tomkin Press published Sundered Isles, an expansion for Ironsworn: Starforged. Is is incompatible with the 2018 Ironsworn rules and requires the Starforged core rulebook for play.
