Isdory Lucas Tarimo (born 15 November 1954) is a Tanzanian environmentalist, politician and farmer from Kilimanjaro Region.[1][2][3]
Early life and career[edit]
A member of the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi political party, he was elected as Councilor of Nanjara - Reha Ward, Rombo District for the year 2000 to 2010.[4] He also serves as a director managing the Tanzania Environmental Conservation Society (TECOSO Tanzania).[5][6]
Farmers Union activities and Public service[edit]
He is a secretary general of the Tanzania national farmers' organisation, Network of Tanzania Farmers' Groups (MVIWATA/MVIWAKI) of the Kilimanjaro Region.[7][8] In 2022, he was elected Chairman of Tanzania Agriculture Society (TASO) representing the country Northern zone regions of Manyara Region, Arusha Region and Kilimanjaro Region.[9]
