PIL Italica Lifestyle Limited (PILILL), formerly known as Peacock Industries Limited,[1] [2] is a Rajasthan-based plastic furniture company headquartered in Udaipur, India. The company manufactures plastic furniture and material handling products for indoor and commercial spaces.[3][4][5][6]
They have a gross revenue of INR 73.43 crores in FY2018.[7] They have been in the furniture space for about three decades. It is a CE certified plastic furniture and material handling products manufacturing company.
History- How it started?[edit]
Mr. Daud Ali founded Italica in 1992.[6] The business started as a singular manufacturing plant in the city of Udaipur, India.[4]
Since 16 March 1992,[4] PIL Italica Lifestyle Limited is Public incorporated and classified as a Non-government company registered at Registrar of Companies, Jaipur. It started its commercial production on 12th March 1993. They have two other offices in Mumbai and Delhi. The directors of Italica are Ramesh Chandra Soni, Asad Daud, and Hakim Tidiwala.[5][8]
Mr. Daud Ali [9] is the founder and the company's promoter who now provides a strategic vision to the company, under the guidance and supervision of their board of directors.[5] The board of directors includes Mr. Daud Ali, the Managing Director, Mr. Narendra Bhanawat, the Chief Financial Officer. They also have independent directors, namely Mr. Magan Lal Sharma, Mr. Mukesh Kothari, Mrs. Namrata Babel, and Mrs. Asha Jain.[10][2][5]

Italica’s Initial Public Offering happened in 1993 on the Bombay Stock Exchange[11] and National Stock Exchange [12]
Italica Geo Presence and Distribution[edit]
PILILL has two manufacturing units in Udaipur, Rajasthan, and Silvassa, Dadra Nagar Haveli. Across these units, they have a combined strength of 200 employees. They also have a distribution network in Northern India, West India, and South India.
