JPM Group (JPM)[5] was established in 1986. J P Minda Group is one of the leading original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in India, with focus on manufacturing of automotive parts of high quality, innovation and design at core and Alloy Wheels, LED Lights and E-Rickshaws as some of the latest ventures. It is now one of the leading tier 1 suppliers for all major OEM's present in India, including Maruti, Hyundai, Honda, Tata, Mahindra, Toyota, Renault - Nissan, Hero, Yamaha, Bajaj, Royal Enfield, Suzuki and Piaggio.

JPM Group was established in 1958 by Sh J.P. Minda and the inception of the group has been with manufacturing of automotive parts (electrical, mechanical and body parts), with Japanese and European collaborators. Over the last 60 years, the group has been successfully delivering custom- made OEM business, instrumentation, Automobiles and Automated Paint shops along with tailor- made automobile solutions to various clients.

1986 | Entering into a Joint Venture with a Japanese company to deliver better quality driven products to all its clients. Jay Ushin company incorporated in the Group as a result of an Indo-Japanese venture banking seeing the significance of Indian manpower and Japanese technology. |

2006 | The year saw one of JPM Group’s biggest expansions with setting up of Jay Ushin’s Manesar Plant and JPM Industries Limited (Formerly known as Jay Auto Components Ltd.) Components’ plant in Pune. They respectively catered to Automotive products and Automotive Assembly parts, among many other services. |

The standards and manufacturing plants together have given best products in Automotive, Non-automotive, Energy and Steel sectors. Besides, infrastructure of latest manufacturing plants with in-house capabilities of 7000 employees has helped to provide fully integrated solutions in Designs, Build, Installation and Operations of different products.
Jay-UShin Limited company’s shares are listed with BSE Ltd. And the Company regularly submits it annual performance with audited financial statements for the year ended March 2020.
Geographical spread[edit]
The Group of companies has facilities to deliver various parts in cars and bikes for local environments and a large number of distributors and retailers in domestic arena. The most notable of them being the four Japanese mechanical heavyweights: Honda, Suzuki, Toyota and Yamaha besides Indian market leaders as Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj, Mahindra and Hero. Every 9 out of 10 cars in India roll out with a JPM Group product with an after-market network that consists of nearly 400 distributors. Ranging from a wide range of two-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicle manufacturers to energy firms and PCB manufacturers the clients are both local as well as countries like Spain, Iran, Nepal, Bangladesh, China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia and Thailand. Current turnover of this technology-driver group is $400 million, employing around 7,000 people across India. With 16 different companies under JPM Group, it has a total of 24 manufacturing units located within India. The group is growing at a rapid pace and is an industry leader in most parts manufactured by the group. The technical expertise collaborations have led to several collaborations with companies in Japan and Spain.
