Jagadguru Kripaluji Yog (JKYog) is a spiritual and charitable non-profit organization in United States with a 501(c)(3) accreditation. [1] [2] [3] [4][5] [6] [7] [8][9] It was founded by Swami Mukundananda (in 2009), a senior disciple of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj. JKYog works for the physical, mental and spiritual wellness of humankind through a holistic system of Yog that includes yoga, meditation, and spirituality. The organization also supports health care for the underprivileged and education for the rural youth. [9]

Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj (1922 - 2013), the fifth original Jagadguru (spiritual master of the world), was one of the foremost Bhakti Saints of India. He preached Bhakti Yog as revealed in the Vedic scriptures for the spiritual upliftment of the society. He also revealed the true meaning of spirituality and the path to God-realization through Bhakti Yog, on the basis of the Vedic philosophy. Swami Mukundananda had met Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj in 1989, and was personally trained by him to preach the Vedic philosophy. In 2009, Swami Mukundananda founded JKYog organization in United States with a goal of disseminating Vedic knowledge in the western world. [10] JKYog has its headquarters in Plano and congregational centers in 20 cities across United States. [11]
Mission[edit]
The mission of JKYog is to serve the society with both material and spiritual knowledge for the complete physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual well-being of humankind. [6] [7] The teachings of JKYog include a combination of five disciplines of Vedic philosophy, which are Yoga, Pranayam, Subtle body relaxation, Meditation and Science of healthy diet.
Activities[edit]
JKYog offers weeklong yoga and meditation workshops in about twenty cities of United States every year, along with philosophical discourses on Vedic sciences and mind management. JKYog arranges typically four spiritual retreats every year in different parts of United States.[8] Swami Mukundananda visits different cities across United States every year to conduct weeklong yoga and meditation workshops, and deliver spiritual discourses to explain the theoretical and practical aspects of Bhakti Yog. The other key JKYog activities include:
- Bal Mukund
JKYog provides a personality development program for children known as Bal-Mukund. [6] [12] Bal-Mukund classes offer activities such as character building, yoga, pranayam, meditation, chantings, stories and discussions, language classes, games, and arts and crafts.
- JKYog Youth
JKYog also offers youth career development program through leadership skills, public speaking skills, College counseling and community services.
- Bhagavad Gita Study circles
Several JKYog centers facilitate weekly interactive Bhagavad Gita sessions based on the commentary on Bhagavad Gita by Swami Mukundananda. [13]
- Daily Sadhana
JKYog offers a platform known as Daily Sadhana to help people practice spirituality (Bhakti Yog) on a daily basis by participating in devotional chantings and guided meditations while acquiring spiritual knowledge through Vedic teachings. [14]
Social Service[edit]
JKYog social service includes health care for the underprivileged and education for the rural youth. JKYog has helped establish Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya, a free hospital in the state of Odisha, India. JKYog supports the free charitable hospitals and educational institutes of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, India, in Mangarh, Kunda, Vrindavan, and Barsana. It is helping the Jagadguru Kripalu Yog Trust, India, establish the Jagadguru Kripalu University in Banara, Odisha. [15] [16] JKYog also supports several charitable initiatives in United States such as Little Hands Big Hearts, and Kids Assisting Kids. Kids Assisting Kids is a JKYog initiative to provide better access to educational resources to homeless kids by distributing free laptops to needy youth. [7] [6]

JKYog has established over twenty Satsang centers (congregation center) in various cities in USA including Albany, Bay Area, Chicago, Manchester, Dallas, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, Maryland, Bridgewater, Overland Park, Kansas, Phoenix, Raleigh, Tampa, Warrington, PA [11]
Radha Krishna Temple[edit]
In July 2017, JKYog established the Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas, which now serves as the JKYog headquarters in United States. [17][18]
