Jaguar Transport Holdings is a holding company for various railroads and transport companies in the United States. Most of the invested financial capital is provided by OPSEU Pension Plan Trust which manages one Canada's largest pension funds.
History[edit]
Terrence Towner and his son Stu Towner, who both previously worked for Watco, founded Jaguar Transport Holdings in early 2018 and established a shortline, West Memphis Base Railroad. OPTrust has increasingly invested into the company since 2020, allowing Jaguar Transport to purchase or create several additional railroads and other companies.[1]
Apart from the railroad holdings, Jaguar Transport Holdings owns logistics companies which operate Transloading facilities in Houston, Marion, El Reno and West Memphis.[2][3]
