Controversies:[edit]

During last few years, he was dragged in two main controversies.[8] In 2012, a famous sportsperson was diagnosed with cancer. His father blamed the sportsperson's mother, his guru and Dr Jatin Chaudhary for his laxity in diagnosis of the ailment. Number of media outlets ran this story and sullied his reputation.[9] Delhi Medical Council (DMC) took up the citadel and castigated him for not possessing any recognised degree in medicine, physiotherapy or any branch of Indian medical system. However, later the sportsperson himself absolved Dr Jatin and stated that he was not treating him for any ailment for a long time.

In second controversy, a disgruntled patient filed a complaint against Dr Jatin for prescribing an allopathic medicine Vitamin B12 to him in writing without requisite medical qualification. Delhi Medical Council (DMC) took up this complaint and now filed a case for investigation into the degrees of Dr Jatin. Media houses again ran this story and dubbed him a "quack" practitioner without even going into the merits of the case.[10]

In this case, Dr Jatin had recommended Vitamin B12 of "Forever Living India Pvt Ltd. (Forever)". Forever imports this Vitamin from USA and is permitted to sell it India under license from FSSAI, India. This Vitamin is classified as Food supplement not drug in this license.

Crime branch of Delhi Police undertook this investigation and also visited his clinic by surprise. They also contacted his Institutes to confirm the authenticity of his degrees. Nothing objectionable was found during this investigation and all Institutes confirmed the authenticity of his degrees. Presently, as a holder of Diploma/Degree in the field of alternative medicine, he is authorised to practice the particular facility/facilities covered by the said diploma/certificate by the order of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. Any person, association or authority challenging Dr Jatin for now possessing appropriate degree to practice alternate medicine runs the risk of contempt of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, based on this order.
