Akpede Joel Oghenemaro (born 22 December), professionally known as JayDaGRT, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter.[1] He gained exposure with his single Etihad[2] from his debut Extended Play "Life",[3] released On 31 January.

Early life and career

Prior to pursuing music full-time, JayDaGRT worked as a marketer for Okomu Palm Oil. During this period, he allocated a portion of his earnings to fund his musical endeavors.[4]

Music career

JayDaGRT's entry into the music industry was marked by the recording of his debut EP "Life", funded by his savings from his previous occupation.[5][6] JayDaGRT expressed his desire to collaborate with prominent figures in the music industry, including Burna Boy, with production by JAE5.[7]
