Jean-Marie Ahanda

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Jean-Marie Ahanda is a Cameroonian singer-songwriter, trumpetist, and the founder and leader of the bikutski band Les Têtes Brulées. Ahanda, a songwriter and art critic for a major newspaper, formed the band because he felt as if bikutsi was a dying genre. He cites John Lee Hooker and other American blues artists as his biggest inspirations. He was the band's lead vocalist.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
