Jeff Gum (born February 6, 1985) is an American actor and producer who has starred in movies such as The Forgiven, The Vault, Day of the Dead: Bloodline, and executive producer of Rambo: Last Blood.[1]

Gum has also been featured on the cover of Men's Health over 14 times.

Education[edit]

Jeff Gum received his bachelor’s degree from the Cal State University[2] and then studied acting at the PlayHouse West in North Hollywood.[3]

Career[edit]

Jeff landed his first TV series role in 2007 with In the Motherhood.[4] He went on to have guest starring roles on hit TV shows such as Breakout Kings and New Girl.[5] Jeff Gum landed his first feature film role in 2009 with The Smell of Success.[5][6]

When asked in an interview about his influences, Gum replied, "I admire the work of so many great actors. Daniel Day-Lewis, Gary Oldman, Tom Hanks, and Denzel Washington..."

In 2017, Jeff Gum produced and played the role of Johnny in Vincent N Roxxy (2016), he then went on to executive produce and star in The Vault with James Franco.[7] After starring in The Vault, Jeff Gum played Francois Schmidt in The Forgiven,[8] where he starred opposite Forest Whitaker and Eric Bana.[9] In 2018, Jeff Gum was the executive producer and played the role of Miguel Salazar in Day of the Dead: Bloodline[10], which was a remake of the 1985 cult classic George A. Romero’s Day of the Dead. He is currently producing Groove Tails alongside Jamie Foxx and executive producing Rambo: Last Blood with Sylvester Stallone.
