Jennifer Sarah Dean (born 20 June 1987, Farnborough, Hampshire) is an award winning [1] writer and director. She is currently the Artistic Director for the Melbourne Shakespeare Company. [2] Before becoming a director Jennifer worked as an actor under the stage name Jennifer Quinn. [3]
Notable productions[edit]
In 2016 Jennifer directed the Australian National Tour of Ghost Stories by Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dixon. After a 6 week run at the Sydney Opera House in 2015, Ghost Stories toured to Melbourne (National Theatre), Adelaide (His Majesty's Theatre)[4], Perth (State Theatre Centre of Western Australia)[5][6], Canberra (People's Theatre) and Geelong (Geelong Performing Arts Centre).
In 2017 Jennifer will direct The Haunting another thriller based on the works of Charles Dickens this will be at the Athenaeum in Melbourne and star Cameron Daddo.
