Jessica K. Corr (born 1973) is an American academic and designer.[1] She is currently an associate professor at Parsons School of Design.[2][3]
Biography[edit]
Corr was born in 1973.[4] She attended Parsons School of Design, where she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts.[5]
Corr joined Parsons as an assistant professor and later became an associate professor.[6][7]
In 2000, she founded an experimental design laboratory named Collaborative.[5][8]
In 2003, her work was included in National Design Triennial and exhibited at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.[5]
As a designer, her work is application-focused and futuristic in design.[9][10][11] Since early 2000s, Corr's work is related to furniture and lighting design.[2][12][13]
In 2015, her work received the Good Design award given by the Chicago Athenaeum.[14]
