Jessica Pan
Jessica Pan is an American author and journalist best known for her memoir, Graduates in Wonderland[1] (ISBN 9781592408603, Gotham Books, Penguin Group USA), which was named one of Jennifer Weiner's Top Ten Beach Reads.[2] Her co-author is Rachel Kapelke-Dale. Pan was born to a Chinese-American father and an American mother and was raised in Amarillo, TX where she was the editor of her high school newspaper. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brown University in Providence, RI. After her college graduation, she moved to Beijing, China where she worked as a magazine editor at an expat magazine. She later moved to Melbourne, Australia where she studied journalism at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. She now resides in London where she works as a freelance journalist and writes a baking column at The Hairpin[3] and writes for ELLE.com, Refinery29, The Frisky,[4] and the Huffington Post.[5]
She has interviewed Lily Allen and Lizzy Caplan for magazine cover stories. She has also been a TV reporter at Blue Ocean Network.
