Jetaniel da Silva, professionally known as Jett Silva, (born February 10, 1990) is a Brazilian-Portuguese Digital Media Producer.

Early Life and Education[edit]

Silva was born on February 10, 1990, in Pedra Branca, Ceara, Brazil. He pursued Business Management in Brazil, completing his studies in 2011. During his academic years, Silva's diverse interests led him to work as a finance manager for major import and export companies in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Career[edit]

Oblivion[edit]

Silva's journey into visual storytelling began during his extensive travels between 2012 and 2015. While exploring various countries, he documented his experiences, discovering a passion for filmmaking and photography. This transformative period marked the inception of his creative career.

In 2018, Jett Silva transitioned into a full-time digital media producer. His dedication to authentic storytelling caught the attention of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) local and International businesses in Geneva, leading to collaborations aimed at creating impactful digital branded content.

He splits his time between Rio Maior, Portugal, and Geneva, Switzerland, where he runs a Digital Media Production Company.[1]

One of Silva's most notable works is his photo project titled "Oblivion." Through this project, he captures candid moments of individuals absorbed in their smartphones, portraying the modern phenomenon of technology-induced detachment from one's surroundings [2] . This thought-provoking project has been showcased on various platforms, including Instagram and magazines such as Fuji Passion[3] and Untolds garnering attention for its commentary on the digital age's impact on human interaction and awareness.

Collaborative Efforts and Future Projects[edit]

Silva was the Sound Designer for the short film "Crepuscule". Collaborating with local producers Oskar Rosetti and Benjamin Bottorff, the film explores the challenges faced by a Russian family in understanding and coping with autism. Although the film's release is pending.
