Jigyasa Labroo is the co-founder and CEO of Slam Out Loud (SOL), a non-profit that uses different artforms to give creative opportunities to children from disadvantaged communities. Jigyasa was listed by Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia for social impact.[1]

Labroo studied Learning Design and Technology as a KC Mahindra scholar at Harvard Graduate School of Education[2]

Slam Out Loud[edit]

SOL was established in 2017, and it runs both online and offline programs that use visual and performing arts to help children build leadership and life skills such as communication, collaboration and empathy.[3] Slam Out Loud currently works with children across five states in India through their in-person programs, building Creative Confidence for them to find a voice and their curriculum has been used by organizations across 19 countries. [4]

Awards and honors[edit]

She was a global 30 Under 30 nominee of the International Literacy Association [5] in 2021, and in the same year, the winner of Falling Walls, Berlin [6]. Jigyasa is also in the 2022 class of Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia for social impact [1] and was most recently awarded Innovator of the year 2023 by HundrED, Finland. [4]
