200 richest businessmen in Russia is a rating compiled and published by the Russian version of Forbes magazine in 2021. The total assessment of 200 entrepreneurs set a record in the history of the rating - $ 663 billion, and the aggregate fortune of the list's participants increased by $ 207 billion over the year. The minimum capital to enter the rating is $ 550 million.

In the Forbes list, Alexei Mordashov is in the lead with a family fortune of $ 29.1 billion; Pavel Durov's fortune increased most in just a year - by $ 13.8 billion. The rating in 2021 included 13 entrepreneurs for the first time.

Methodology

The list includes entrepreneurs with Russian citizenship, they are ranked according to the value of their assets (shares of companies, land plots, real estate), as well as personal property, etc. The price of public companies was fixed as of March 5, 2021, for non-public companies an assessment was made based on information on sales volumes, profits, equity and comparison with similar public companies.

Also, the Forbes editors attributed the assets of family members to entrepreneurs if relatives did not take an active part in their management. Traditionally, the ranking does not include civil servants.
