Jo Potter is an American singer-songwriter known for her work in rock, pop, and soul music genres.[1][2] She is known for her emotive lyrics and vocals, influenced by artists like Sting, Tracy Chapman, and Beth Hart.

Jo Potter was raised in the United States and currently resides in Singapore.[3][4] She started her musical career at the age of 6, showcasing her singing and songwriting skills.[5]
Career[edit]
In 2003, Jo Potter released her debut album "8 Circles," which received positive reviews. The single "Valentine's Day Song" reached #9 on the National FMQB chart and held the #1 Most Added Song position on FMQB's AC40 chart for three weeks.[4][6]
Her second album, "Saved," was released in 2008 while residing in Switzerland.[7] After moving to South Korea and then Singapore, she re-released "Saved" in 2017, receiving acclaim and an invitation to perform at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
Jo Potter's latest album, "Tonight," combines Americana and contemporary folk styles.[8][4][9][6] Recorded in various locations including Los Angeles, Singapore, Japan, Bali, and Bangkok, the final track was completed at Reseda Ranch Studios in Los Angeles.[6]
The track "Tonight" received attention, becoming the #10 Most Added Song on Billboard's Top 40 Pop Stations for two consecutive weeks.[10][4][11][5]
Potter has written and released a single "All Year Long," a Christmas song. She has also written a song "Better Together" for the corporation Stryker.
She performed at Esplanade Theater in Singapore and opened for The Go-Gos at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami.
She is also known for her role in the 2004 film "Señorita Justice," where she worked alongside Eva Longoria.[12]
