Joey Shaw (born 22 August 1969 in Milan, Italy)[1] is an Italian celebrity photographer. Shaw is known for his work in the fashion industry and celebrity photography, with covers and features for H magazine. He is also the author of the photographic book *Shades of Glamour* and the campaign dedicated to Noura Hussein published by Editoriale Italiano.

Career

Joey Shaw began his career in the fashion industry shooting models in Milan in the 1990s. After gaining recognition in the Milan and Paris fashion scene, he shot his first campaign for Vogue magazine and fashion shows for Vogue Italy and "Style" magazine.

Since 1994, Shaw has frequently traveled to Los Angeles to shoot actresses and actors and continue fashion editorials with Hollywood stars like Debby Ryan,[2] Anna Camp, Adam Rodriguez,[3] Sarah Hyland,[4] Lori Loughlin,[5] Lisa Edelstein,[6] Tobin Bell[7], Ernie Hudson[8], Deborah Ann Woll[9], Isabelle Fuhrman[10], Jessica Lowndes[11], Kathleen Robertson, Taylor Spreitler, Ross McCall, Jessica Lowndes,[12] Deborah Ann Woll.[13]

Shaw has also photographed two calendars: a glamour calendar shot in Lanzarote, Canary Islands in 2005 with Playmate Zsuzsanna Ripli [14], and a fashion calendar shot in Milan in 2007, both for Next magazine.

Shaw has done campaigns for Vodafone, Emirates (airline), The North Face, Expedia, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Société Générale, Mastercard, and Banca Etruria. In May 2015, Shaw introduced the XS campaign,[15]

In July 2015, Shaw launched the "1+1= couple" campaign for H magazine.[16]

In December 2015, Shaw photographed actress Deborah Ann Woll for Exit magazine. The magazine also interviewed Joey Shaw and published an article titled "Deborah Ann Woll by the famous photographer Joey Shaw" [17]

In January 2016, the new international XS campaign was released in London, with Shaw as the author of all the photos.[18]

In May 2017, Editoriale Italiano released a new interview with Shaw.[19]

In October 2017, Photos magazine in the UK published a new interview with Shaw. [20]

In May 2018, Kate magazine featured a cover shot by Joey Shaw [21]

On June 26th, Shaw dedicated a new Editoriale Italiano campaign to Noura Hussein [22]
