John Alfred Thomasberg was a politician from Minnesota who served as the fifth mayor of Bloomington, Minnesota from 1968 to 1969.
Time as Mayor[edit]
In May 1968, The city council approved building a Penn Lake Library. Mayor Thomasberg approved the construction of the Library in March 1969. ten months later, the library would be finished.[2] In 1968, The Humans Rights Commission was founded in Bloomington by the city council [3] 1968 also saw the opening of Normandale Hills Elementary School and Normandale Community College, with 1,358 students in its first year. [4]
