John Alle

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

John Alle is an American real estate consultant and personal relocator. He co-founded the Santa Monica Coalition, which aims to improve the city and reduce homelessness, crime, and drug use.[1]

In 2020, Alle started erecting signs in front of his storefronts which complained about the level of homelessness in Santa Monica, where Alle lives.[2] In September 2023, when Alle was filming a video of homeless people in Palisades Park, he was attacked by a 34-year-old homeless man. After the assault, Alle had a broken jaw and required two brain surgeries, but has since fully recovered.[3][4]

In June 2025, Alle began running a service where unhoused people in Santa Monica can call a hotline to receive a free flight out of the city, provided they have identification and a family member or contact at their destination.[1][5][6][7] Alle claimed that the city’s current attempts at reducing homelessness were ineffective, and cited the statistic that most homeless people in Santa Monica are originally from outside of the city as a reason for starting the program.[3]
