John P. Silvaggio (born January 7, 1984 in Providence, Rhode Island) is an American politician and a Republican in the State of Rhode Island. John is a former Private Detective.[1], State Constable[2], and Federal Process Server[3]. While in office Mr. Silvaggio acted as the judge's hand in over two hundred Writs ranging from Summons, Executions, Citiations, and Body Attachments.

John P. Silvaggio Graduated from The Rhode Island Training School Class of 2002.

Once a State Constable J.P. Silvaggio traveled to and trained with the Philadelphia Police Department to become an ASP, Inc. Handcuff[4] and Baton (law enforcement)[5] Tactical Instructor which covers the Use of force continuum. He also became certified by the National Rifle Association Law Enforcement Activities Division in the disciplines of Handguns & Shotguns[6].

In addition to the many Law Enforcement Credentials John also sports Civilian Instructor Status for Home Firearm Safety, Pistol, Shotgun, Personal Protection In The Home, and Personal Protection Outside The Home which can be verified[7] via his NRA Instructor #151487410.

Elections[edit]

 *2016 Silvaggio was unopposed for the September 2016 Republican Primary Election, and lost the November, 2016 General Election [8] with 1,149 votes (29.1%) against Democrat Jeremy Rix. 
 *2018 Silvaggio was unopposed for the September 2018 Republican Primary Election with 1,001 votes (100.0%) [9], and lost the November, 2018 General Election [10] with 4,313 votes (32.7%) against Democrat James C. Sheehan
 *2020 Silvaggio was opposed for the September 2020 Republican Primary Election and lost with 93 votes (19.7%) [11]
