Johnathan Fredrick Felch
Johnathan Fredrick Felch(born 1985 or 1986) is an American man from San Luis Obispo, California who was arrested at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California at 7.15 pm on April 17, 2009 (the day the festival starts annually) for being completely naked. Felch was drunk. The police gave him warnings that if he did not get dressed (being shirtless with shorts or pants on was still considered fine like at most outdoor festivals) he would be arrested and he refused to listen to the warnings causing the police to taser and arrest him. The incident was caught on tape and this video went viral. Anarchists, libertarians, and ultraliberals opposed Felch's arrest. On his way to a jail in Indio, California, Felch head-butted one of the officers. At the jail he was cited and released on a $2,500 bail. Felch's name and age were not released until April 26, 2009. Felch has gained the nickname the "Naked Wizard".[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
