Josh Herman is a Canadian music manager [1] He is the current CEO of STRVCTVRE and is the manager of the label's primary artist, DVBBS. In addition to DVBBS, Herman also manages artists Borgeous, and Down with Webster (among others)[2][3].
Early life
Herman was born in Canada on January 22, 1989. He attended Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He worked as a Live Nation Tour Rep before starting STRVCTVRE .[4]
Career
In 2011, Herman founded STRVCTVRE ,[5] DVBBS and Borgeous were the first artists to join the label founded by Herman.[6] DVBBS’s 2013 single Tsunami [7]was certified Gold and Platinum[8]. The music video currently has 480m views on YouTube.[9] Down with Webster’s 2013 album, Time to Win, Vol. 2, won the Juno Award for Pop Album of the Year[10] and Borgeous accomplished three Billboard Dance Radio Top 10s, three Beatport #1's and a #1 on the iTunes Dancechart in 15 different countries [11]
In 2017, Herman opened nightclubs, Liar Liar and Daisy, in Toronto which won the Nightclub of the Year from the Notable Awards.[12] In 2019 Herman was listed 1st on the list of "Best Canadian Talent Agents" by Youtuber Magazine.[13][12]
