Juan Bautista Arismendi Educational Unit is a school, preschool through high school, founded by Mercedes Crespo in 2007 in Caraballeda, Vargas State, Venezuela.

The Juan Bautista Arismendi Educational Unit was a dream that at some point in his life the Former Chief Commissar of the Caracas Metropolitan Police, former Deputy Assistant to those who were Secretaries of Government (first Mr. Benito Robres, and then with Mr. Arnaldo Moscoso), and who serves as current Director of our institution: Mercedes Crespo; who says: "Acquiring this place where the headquarters of our Educational Unit currently operates was a range of joint efforts, in the company of my husband, Mr. Omar Rafael Guillén del Gaudio (man, founder and pioneer of the Autonomous Police Institute and Cirgasción del Estado Vargas), and my three beautiful children, who have been for me a fundamental column to achieve this fabulous goal. After living 15 years in the City of Caracas, I decide to return to my home state (Vargas), with the aim of creating a preschool. The search for the ideal place, was quite diffuse, long, and cumbersome, I had to visit and visit several houses and fifths, and finally I decided that the headquarters where our institution currently operates, I could choose. Subsequently, it was possible to make contact with the owners, and finally, after joint agreements, it was acquired; special thanks to the Retired Captain of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Juan Bautista Márquez.
This was for me a very meaningful name when choosing the perfect name for the institution, because thanks to Mr. Baptist, today the Educational Unit has its own headquarters, and proudly and tenaciously elevates the efforts made by Juan Bautista Arismendi in the Independence of Venezuela.
The Juan Bautista Arismendi Educational Unit has its doors open to achieve the integral formation of children and adolescents, in terms of the functioning of the pedagogical and assistance care, in order to achieve success with the great mystique of ethics work professional".
