JustOrbit is an online travel planning platform helping travelers plan their customized itinerary, share with co-travelers, discuss, finalize and book collectively. End-to-end travel planning solution. JustOrbit reduces the pain of the traveler of visiting multiple websites to finalize their trip by providing elements of planning & discussing under one roof.

History[edit]

JustOrbit was founded by Raj Kumar Narang as a complete travel planning platform. On 4 September 2012,[1] the website was officially launched as a proprietorship firm, Just Orbit. Later on 9 June 2014 it was converted into a privately held company by the name of JustOrbit Travels Private Limited with the registered address in Delhi, India.

From the date of its incorporation, JustOrbit has been bootstrapped.

In December 2012, JustOrbit launched a new user friendly feature for planning vacations in the form of travel maps.[2]

In March 2013, JustOrbit introduced an interesting feature which provided recommendations and statistical data which would add to the decision making of the travelers.[3]

On 22 June 2013, JustOrbit launched its first mobile friendly version of the website.[4]

In October 2013, an interactive destination suggestion tool as introduced by JustOrbit, enabling users to shortlist the city they need to visit for the next vacation.[5]

In May 2014, JustOrbit collaborated with tour operators of various countries to provided tour packages to the global visitors of their website.[6]

In June 2015, JustOrbit finally launched its group travel planning feature on its website. This feature helped travelers share their trip with their co-travelers, discuss and finalize the trip together.[7]

In December 2015, JustOrbit was covered as the Startup of the month in the Startup 360° Magazine [8]

May 2016, JustOrbit, a travel startUp that tells you cost of your dream vacation instantly.[9]

JustOrbit Travels Pvt Ltd got selected as the finalist for Red Herring 2015 Top 100 Asia awards.[10]

On 15 December 2015, JustOrbit was declared a winner for HOT100 2015 Awards by CORE in an event in MCA ground, Mumbai, India.[11]

9 March 2016, JustOrbit was nominated as 100 Hottest Tech Startups 2016 [12]
