K. Sivarajan

K. Sivarajan is an Indian educationist. He is a former professor and head of the Department of Lifelong Learning, and Director of Self Financing Colleges, at the University of Calicut, in the Indian state of Kerala.[1][2]

Sivarajan earned a Ph.D in education from the University of Kerala in 1982. He taught for 36 years, out of which 12 years was spent as Principal, University College of Teacher Education and 10 years as Professor and Head of the Department of Lifelong Learning. He was Syndicate Member of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit and member of Justice K T Thomas Commission[which?].

He has written 41 books on education and most of these books are reference books for B.Ed and M.Ed courses of the universities in Kerala.[citation needed]

He is the recipient of Dr Ambedkar fellowship 1997, Best Teacher Educator Award 2009, Aadichan Puraskaram 2015, Celebrity Writer Award 2017, and National Award for Acclaimed Extension Educator 2018.[citation needed]
