KOI-3010.01 is a warm superterran exoplanet candidate about 1250 lightyears from Earth. Its composition is expected to be similar, if not identical, to the Earth. It has an ESI (Earth Similarity Index) score of 0.84 (1.0 meaning it is identical to Earth) and a hClass (habitability class) type of Mesoplanet – meaning KOI-3010.01 temperature is similar to the Earth’s. The exoplanet's temperature is thought to be about 19.6 °C (67.3 °F) (292.75 K) which means its average temperature is the closest to the Earth's average temperature of 15 °C (59 °F)[1] (288 K) of the top 10 most Earthlike planets in the List of potentially habitable exoplanets.
