Kabir Ahamed is a One star rank Bangladesh Army officer. A Brigadier General and the rising Brigade Commander of 11th Infantry Brigade at Sylhet Cantonment.[1]
Early life[edit]
Kabir Ahamed was born in , Netrakona .[2] His Father and mother both were Teachers.He Passed SSC from Barhatta Govt. Boys High School and HSC from Netrakona Government College.Kabir obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from Chittagong University and MSc degree on ‘Defense Studies’ from National University Bangladesh.
Military Career[edit]
General Kabir Was commissioned from Bangladesh Military Academy with 24th BMA long course in Corps of Infantry.In his course he was the Company Seniour Under Officer of Mustafa Company . Kabir did many military courses in home and abroad.He led many Infantry Units in Bangladesh and in UN Peacekeeping Missions.He did Principal Staff College(PSC) and Armed Forces War Course(AFWC) from Defence Services Command and Staff College,Mirpur. Presently he is doing National Defence University(NDU) in Indonesia.

General is married to Fatema Kabir. They have a son, Ismam and a daughter,Ariba.
