Kamini is a Bengali horror, comedy web series released on Bengali OTT platform hoichoi on 28September 2019.[1] The series features Barkha Sengupta who plays the lead role of Kamini (mysterious woman), Saurav Das who is known for his excellent performance on Charitraheen, Apratim Chatterjee who is known for the Dupur Thakurpo series.[2] Through this web series, Barkha made her debut in Bengali web series[3][4][5] The story is all about two boys name Soumya and Arnab who runs a small private detective agency. They arrived at Kamini's village for a case investigation. They wanted to break the myth about Kamini and help the people of the village[6][7] This series also features a song named Shorir Khela which was released just before the web series on 25 September.

Season 1 (2019)[edit]
The season 1 of Kamini was released on 13 September 2019 with 4 episodes. Later, on 3 October 2019 hoichoi released all the remaining episodes of season 1. Bengali content lovers all over the world were eagerly waited to see Barkha's debut in the Bengali web series and keen to see her performance[8]
