Karam AboulHoda(popularly known as MrKay on Instagram)(born March 28, 1989) is a business magnate, investor, and motivator born and raised in Dubai. At the age of 10 in 1999, Karam started his first business activity by managing a school canteen. He derived his market presence from his early involvement in different business activities. His business activities include media, education, real-estate, energy, development, and sports services.
Early Life[edit]
AboulHoda was born on March 28, 1989, in Dubai City to Souheil AboulHoda and Fadile Saadeddine.
Karam always had the determination to be a businessman, and he began to develop his business and exercise some investment activities at a young age. He received business lessons from his father Souheil, who taught him management and supervision skills, as well as, the importance of being accurate and confident about financial decisions. He have also learned some smart business decisions and the importance of family from his mother who is also involved in business.
At the age of 11, Karam involved in business activity by managing a small grocery store. He was involved in the daily sales figures and the strategy of increasing the monthly sales by choosing the right products and inventory. Later at the age of 15 he started investing in the financial market and stocks. By the age of 17, Karam started being involved in the decision-making and strategies of his family business.
He then went to study his bachelor’s degree of business administration in the American University of Beirut from 2006 to 2010. In year 2010 he came back to Dubai where his family resides and got involved in real estate business. Then traveled again to United Kingdom to continue his masters in business administration and management consulting. Karam has stated that his ability to quickly adapt to changes was a key factor to take a part in the business world.
Business Career[edit]
After graduating from university in 2012, Karam began his entrepreneurial activities by starting his media agency in UAE.
In 2013 he started his business in energy efficiency and saving technologies. In 2014, he revisited the real estate business and invested more in it, initially he started by investing in different projects around Dubai, then he started to develop and sell his own projects. In 2015, Karam initiated a building project which that includes residential units in Dubai city. In 2016, Karam started the development of an online business. Karam focuses on companies in the beauty, servicing, and online businesses. He have started expanding his business to involve investing in other businesses in year 2016.
Karam believes that you need to learn the norms of the game, and you have to play better than anyone else.[1] His love for business had a lot to do with the direction his life took.[2] Karam is one individual who started learning business at a very early age and now he is a successful business man and an internet sensation.[3] His most infamous quote is “always adapt to the changing times, it’s a mistake to hold on to what doesn’t work, even if it worked in the past.”[4]
Family and Personal Life[edit]
Karam is a single businessman born to six brothers. He and his brothers work together among several businesses which includes education, energy, real estate, construction, development, online services, and beauty centers. Among his interests is being fit and healthy and he can be seen motivating his followers on instagram to workout and stay.
