Karan Atwal is an Indian footballer currently playing as a defender for Punjab Police.
Career
Mohun Bagan
Born in Punjab, India, Atwal is a product of the famed Tata Football Academy in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand where he graduated in 2008.[1] Then in 2008 he signed for Mohun Bagan A.C.[2] for 3 years.
United Sikkim
After three years at Bagan, where Atwal only got one cap with the first team, he decided to sign with I-League 2nd Division side United Sikkim and became champion of the 2011–12 I-League 2nd division.
Salgaocar
Salgaocar further enhanced their squad by bringing in talented USFC player Karan Atwal for 2012–13.
Mumbai Tigers
Atwal played for the Mumbai-based club in 2013.
ONGC
Karan Atwal played here for two successive seasons, 2013–14 and 2014–15.
Gangtok Himalayan
After ONGC, Atwal joined Gangtok Himalayan in the I-League 2nd Division.[3]
Tollygunge Agragami
Atwal participated in the Calcutta Football League in 2016 and 2017 playing for Tollygunge Agragami.
