Kaushik Krish (born 3 October 1998), is an Indian playback singer and musician from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He introduced to Tamil film industry from his song "Kannala Kannala" from Thani Oruvan which the music was composed by Hiphop Tamizha.[1] Also he did many songs with Hiphop Tamizha. Then he turned to music director[2] as a debutant in Odavum Mudiyathu Oliyavum Mudiyathu.

Career[edit]

Kaushik Krish has worked with Hiphop Tamizha in the RR of Aambala and he was supposed to sing earlier in Indru Netru Naalai but it didn't happen. Finally it clicked as his debut in the film Thani Oruvan with the duet song 'Kannala Kannala'.[3] Also he was working as a Sound Engineer in Hiphop Tamizha. He also continued with 'Enna Nadanthalum' from Meesaya Murukku and 'Kadhalikathey' from Imaikkaa Nodigal which became a huge hit.[4] Also he did many songs with Hiphop Tamizha and he is doing his debut film Odavum Mudiyathu Oliyavum Mudiyathu as music director[5] and the first single track sung by Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi and written by Saravedi Saran, released on 11 May 2020.[6]

He composed a song "En Lifeu" with his own lyrics and voice and released on the lockdown due to COVID-19.[7]

He has also performed live in many college and public stages with Hiphop Tamizha.

Personal life[edit]

Kaushik Krish was born and raised in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He did his schooling from St.Johns Matric School, Mandaveli. He completed his degree in Visual Communication from Loyola College, Chennai.
