Kendrick Releford (born February 3, 1982) is an American professional boxer.[1] Nicknamed "The Apostle", Releford is the former IBF Atlantic Coast and WBO Latino heavyweight champion.[2]

Amateur career[edit]

Releford won the Texas Golden Gloves and many other titles during his amateur career.[3]

Professional career[edit]

On October 28, 2004, Kendrick upset title contender Elieser Castillo to win the WBO Latino heavyweight title. This bout was the main event of an HBO boxing card.[4]

Cristobal vs. Releford[edit]

Releford lost to Chris Arreola on Goosen-Tutor's Blame It On Reno! fight card in Reno, Nevada. The bout was televised on ESPN as the main event.[5]
