Kevin Muirhead (born 7 June 1979 in Paisley) is a Scottish former football player and who is currently manager of Scottish Junior (non-league) side Muirkirk who play in the West Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association.Previously he was the manager of Newmains having joined them from Ladbrokes Premier League side Hamilton Academical. [1]
His playing career saw him with spells at Airdrie F.C, St Mirren, Queens Park , and finishing at Renfrew.[2]
His coaching career saw him work with Cardiff City, Hamilton Academical (two spells) Falkirk and Fleetwood Town. In May 2016 he was appointed Manager of Scottish Junior (non-league) side Newmains United in the West of Scotland League Central District Second Division.[3] Then moving on to become manager of Muirkirk in October 2017.
